DAY 29 - RESPONSIBILITY

“Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.”  (Galatians 6:5 MSG)

Responsibility is the ability to respond. We may have a list of responsibilities, which means that someone believes you are able to respond to a certain set of tasks. In other words, someone is expecting you to follow through with your tasks. What responsibilities do we have as Christ followers? Prayer, worship, bible study, small group, and to love our neighbor. God is expecting us to follow through with this tasks not because we have too, but because we want too. Do you want to read and hear Scripture in order to hear the Living Word of a Living God? Do you want to respond to God in prayer? Do you want to join in with a group of believers to express your struggles and how you are experiencing God in your own life? Do you want to love your neighbor? Take responsibility, today. You have the ability to respond by the power of God living in and through our lives by His Spirit.

IronMaker’s Daily Challenge:  Pick one of the ‘tasks’ mentioned and focus on it today.

Prayer:  Lord Jesus of Nazareth, High Priest of Heaven, I am able to respond because you empower me to do so. Grant me the willpower to live into this realization today. Amen.
